A chat app for Cameroon where the whole business lifecycle happens in the conversation: finding each other, agreeing terms, coordinating the work, delivering and keeping the client. It feels like WhatsApp, with one restriction lifted for commerce: anyone can be found, and anyone can find. People post what they need or what they offer in their own words; businesses run their team, their orders and their regulars from the same chats. Calls, groups, voice notes, maps and bilingual English/French run through everything. IN-MBOA does not hold money or arbitrate: it gives people the tools and a written record of what was agreed.
The brief
Business in Cameroon already happens in chat — in DMs, voice notes and "send me your MoMo number" — but nobody can find the plumber they need, orders live as scattered messages, and ten years of honest trading leave no proof. Build the platform that keeps the chat Cameroonians already use and adds what is missing: discovery, structure and memory. Free for everyone, fully bilingual, hosted on our own server.
